A lot has happened since the introduction of the theatre flat rate in cooperation with Theater Bremen in winter semester 2019. The theatre flat rate has become the so-called Kultursemesterticket with a number of actors and cultural institutions that are part of the Kultursemesterticket.
Students get free entry to many theatres, museums and independent stages in Bremen.
The cultural semester ticket costs EUR 2.10 ( 2024 summer semester) per semester and is included in the re-registration fees. Unlike the semester ticket, no separate ticket is required. All you will need is your student ID.

Is there a presale (VVK)?
Yes, you can get a discounted ticket from most organisations via advance booking (VVK). When ordering, please state that you have a Kultursemesterticket. You can also get discounted tickets spontaneously at the ticket desk.
How much does entry cost with the cultural semester ticket?
From summer semester 2023, students with a culture semester ticket will be given free entry to all partners.
Does the virtual student ID card (from Hochschule Bremen) count as a cultural semester ticket?
The virtual student ID is only valid in the official HSB app. Screenshots are not accepted. If you cannot (or do not want to) use the HSB app, the university will provide you with an alternative student ID card that you can print out yourself. This is also valid for the cultural semester ticket.
How can I know for which events the cultural semester ticket is valid?
The cooperation partners provide information on the validity of the cultural semester ticket on their websites or in their online shops (if available). If you cannot find any information, please contact the institution or its advance booking office.
